Dance Revolution Studio’s regular classes are intended for participants aged 16 and over.

In which language are the lessons taught?

Lessons are taught in Dutch when all participants and the teacher speak Dutch. If there are participants who do not speak Dutch, or if the teacher does not speak Dutch, the lesson is taught in English.

Yes. There are changing rooms and toilets on site.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Am I allowed to film during the lesson?

Filming is permitted during the demonstration at the end of the lesson.

Do not film during the rest of the lesson without the teacher’s permission. Please also be considerate of other participants who may not wish to be recognisable in the footage.

Can I pay in cash?

No. Registrations and payments are handled exclusively via Bueno.

Can I have an invoice sent to me?

Yes. Do you need an invoice? If so, please contact Dance Revolution Studio.

What should I wear for salsa, bachata and kizomba?

Wear comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely.

Dance trainers or Latin dance shoes are recommended. Choose shoes that stay securely on your feet and allow you to turn easily. Shoes with a heavy or very rough sole are less suitable.

What shoes should I wear when I go to a dancehall?

Wear clean, comfortable trainers that provide sufficient support and cushioning.

The shoes must stay securely on your feet and be suitable for dynamic movements. Avoid shoes with very heavy soles or insufficient support.

What sort of shoes or heels do I need for Heels?

Wear dancing heels that fit snugly around the foot and ankle. Heels with ankle support and a stable heel are best.

Are you still not used to dancing in heels? If so, start with a lower, wider heel. Depending on the class, you may be able to perform certain parts without heels or in suitable dance shoes.

Standard pumps without an ankle strap are less suitable, as they do not provide sufficient support.

Do I have to change partners during partner lessons?

During most partner classes, we change dance partners regularly. This helps you to improve your ability to lead, follow and adapt to different dancers.

Would you prefer not to swap places for personal reasons? If so, please let the teacher know in advance.

What time do I need to be there?

Make sure you arrive about 5 minutes before the class starts. That way, you’ll have plenty of time to get changed and be ready in good time.

What happens if I’m late?

Always try to arrive before the lesson starts.

If you arrive late, the instructor may decide that it is no longer safe or practical for you to take part. This applies particularly if the warm-up has already been completed or if the group has already started working in pairs.

Who is eligible to take part in the training period?

Anyone is welcome to join the regular practice session from 9.30 pm to 10.00 pm, even if you haven’t attended a class that evening.

The practice session is intended for free dancing, practising with different partners and putting what you’ve learnt into practice. A teacher will be present, but this is not an extra lesson.

Can I combine different dance styles?

Yes. With a membership, you can combine different dance styles, as long as you stay within the number of classes included in your membership and the classes are suitable for your level.

Do the prices include VAT?

Yes. All prices listed on the website include VAT.
